I started making the pizza dough today , and it came out pretty good and fluffy :) i just used an basic pizza dough recipe for it , which is below
- 1 cup warm water, about 110 degrees F
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 1/4 cups flour (may use a little more or less)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
I used the recipe from food network , what you start with is the warm water and the yeast , you add the yeast and mix in sugar , olive oil , and heres the fun part , after you sift your flour [ sifting is a way to make your flour softer and a way to get rid of the bumbs ] you make a hole inside the flour and you pour the warm mixture into the flour. Then you just mix it with your hands until its not so sticky anymore , and remember to try to use all the flour even the ones thats in the bottom of the bowl :)
Now you have to play the waiting game , you have to wait now for at least an hour but make sure you rub the dough with a hint of oil , then after an hour you punch an hole in and wait for it raise up.
Finally after an hour , you can bake it! the 1st step to baking is to bake the dough first , so it can become nice and crunchy :) , with any regular pizza you can just add the sauce then the toppings afterwards and bake it in the oven for about 425.
The way i made my pizza , I made an deep dish pizza , which is from chicago and its sooo good , because the bread is nice and thick , and what makes this different from the regular pizza's , is that the cheese is placed first , then you pour the nice red sauce on top :)
it's really good , and with the leftover of the pizza dough you can make calzones , breadsticks , or regular pizza :) tomorrow i'll be making calzones and ill upgrade tomorrow with new photos of the calzones :D
the bread when it was being raised
i shredded my own cheese because i felt like it was much fresher that way :)
